@dsio - a few shots before it goes to the spa

18K "national production" case that appears to be a one-piece. Houses a cal. 431 which, according to the archives, was invoiced to Longines' Spanish agent back in Jan 1971.

Wears small (34mm sans crown, 36mm with; 40mm lug-to-lug) compared to my other 37mm Ultra-chron, but more than holds its own presence with the lovely interplay of the gold and black batons against the etched white of the dial. ::love:: And of course, that kickass caseback and brushed bezel! :D

Saw the wifey eyeing it - looks like she might be getting her 1st vintage Longines!

Yes, rather unique look, haven't come across any other vintage Longines with such finishing on the case. Any other members with similar or different national production models?
