No problems with omegaforums.net

But today I tried to create an account on tagheuerforums.com. On that site, I cannot create an account because I have one here.
You already have an account on the Escapement Network, which includes Calibre 11 and Omega Forums. Please use your account from either of these sites.
However, I cannot use my omegaforums.net account because the TFA (specifically, Passkeys) is linked to omegaforums.net and cannot be used on other sites. This looks like it's a shortcoming with the server configuration on, at least, tagheuerforums.com. It may be a problem with omegaforums.,net as well. I can't report the problem to tagheuerforums.com because I can't create an account there. Since the same infrastructure is (apparently) used by both sites, perhaps @Trev can forward the issue appropriately (if he's not also the admin there).

Obviously, I could use a burner email address and get an account that way, but that's a pain and it's just one more bit of digital baggage to carry around.

We're going to look into this, you're entirely right and we'll see what we can do

So we can't have shared keys as easily as we would like, but we do support multiple keys per account, so you can log in the normal way to Tagheuerforums then create a second passkey in there for tagheuerforums and both will remain active on your account, each working on the respective site. Its a couple of extra steps but once it's done you'll never have to worry about it again.

But that’s the problem. Tagheuerforums doesn’t give me the option to log in the normal way.

I’ll just disable TFA. It doesn’t add anything for me anyway. If my omegaforums.net account is compromised, I’ve got bigger problems to worry about.

Ahk yea you might need to disable TFA, add a passkey on both then you should be good
