I have just bought my first Omega, a second hand Omega Constellation 38mm Coaxial(movement 8500). The watch is fine apart from one thing. The date changes at 8.00pm every day. The watch came with the service guarantee which still has a few months left. The dealer said it had been repaired in 2016 with a movement "problem," but OK now. Should I take it in for repair or just live with it?
Yes I think I will take it in tomorrow. I don't know if the dealer knew of this problem. Still I got it at a good price.
Sometimes weird things happen... During service, hands must have been put on without synchonizing it it the date. it just needs to have its hand taken off and put on correctly. If the date changes everyday at exactly the same time I can see no other problem.
