Hi everyone,
New to this site so if this isn't appropriate for this forum please remove it (posted here due to no access to post in the selling forums).
I have a couple of watches I'm interested in selling (one pretty unique) due to a change in circumstances and don't know where to begin.
I've no idea how to find them new owners and although I've bought from eBay I wouldn't know hoe to use it to sell something valuable.
Any hints or advice with regards to selling a watch privately would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a eBay account should be pretty easy to sell. Take good pictures and a good description will help.

Unique? Maybe head down the sell to a dealer. If money needed quickly

I'll bet, just not me. I strongly support the 200 post guidelines. I'm a big believer in the "Old School" Golden Rule: "But the Seller" and with only 2 posts, I can't break the rule. Nothing personal but as the God-Father said: " It's only business"

My advice is to post in the open forum a post where you ask how can you sell a unique watch, this will spike curiosity and then you can sell it off the grid without anyone knowing. It really works!!

Wonder if I could sell some of my posts to n00bs who post threads like this? I could have a nice little racket going helping them get to 200 rapidly.

 

I would take you up on this but, for me, watches are like posts; I have to get my hands on some of yours to have enough of mine to be able to do anything with them.

 

Absolutely agree. Why would any of us take that kind if chance?

 

They self enable, they don't really need any help. We're not really helping and if anything we are at least outing.

 

As long as we're only outing them, then that's fine by me.
