Reluctantly putting this beautifully aged cal. 283 chronograph from Universal Geneve for sale. This watch is as good as it gets! The cream colored dial and its lemon colored lume complement nicely to its metallic blue hands. All lume on the hands and dial are intact. It is keeping perfect time and the chrono hands reset perfectly. Buyer should be aware that the case for this model is 33mm wide and not for the size obsessed. I have a 6.75” wrist and it sits well on the wrist and does note feel overly small. Perfectly compatible with t-shirt and jeans or a tie and a sports jacket. I am providing a few shots on the wrist below for your reference. The strap pictured is for reference only and not part of the sale but a generic leather strap will be included.

Aside from its model and serial number, the case back is in fantasic shape and has the following engraving: “Lawerence D. Bell Award, U of B. – USAF – ROTC, Duane F. Hartman, 1956”. I do not have a movement shot of the watch but it was bought from a reputable dealer and was serviced prior sale. I am asking for $1750 via Paypal with free shipping within CONUS. Really regretting not pulling the trigger on this one now... SIGH

 

An update on this one: I have sent this out to the buyer via USPS on March 16. Unfortunately, it never got to its destination. Fortunately, I have bought full insurance on this one and am waiting on the full 30-days in order to process my claim. I am really disappointed and as is the buyer. Please do keep an eye out if this does show up one way or another.
