Highly desirable A3818 on the bay from one of the usual suspects http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-ZENITH-EL-PRIMERO-CHRONOGRAPH-C-3019-BLUE-dial-/251192288509Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Sadly, this angular tonneau case is very easy to kill with hamfisted polishing. And this one is dead. Some comparison pics: this one what it ought to look like this one what it ought to look like
So very sad. There oughta be a law. Contemplating a low-ball offer, just for the bracelet and parts, but I'm still waiting for the Toledo Champion Widget Salesman of 1974 to pull his unworn prize out of a safety deposit box and cash it in. But please - no inscription.
One of the usual suspects indeed. He offered an A3818 a while ago that was lacking the blue tachymetre ring. He then found a ring, mated it with the watch, and offered the combination as all-original. In entering this listing, he seems to have clicked the wrong box, as "country of origin" is listed as "Swaziland". Probably not far from the mark!
