Pardon me if this has been covered, but I have a couple of these backs for 60s speedmasters, and both allow the movements, 321 and 861 to rattle around in the case, and yes, I am using the supplied spacer. Is there a larger spacer? Any help is appreciated. And hello from a new person.

Sometimes may need an adjustment. I have had a few of these. One needed milling to fit properly, another required a replacement spacer from Priek as the wrong one was sent.

Having the wrong space is a not uncommon occurrence. Priek is generally cooperative in correcting this.

I'm having trouble getting him to respond. I'll try again. I could just stick some chewing gum in there, I guess.

From what I remember the 321 and 861 use different thickness spacers. The clear case backs I've fitted have all fitted snugly without the movement being loose.

I heard from Thomas this morning, and he says he is sending spacers for each movement. That should solve the problem.

I lucked out I guess - I bought one of his casebacks for the 861 off of ebay, which was about $60 shipped since it was run as an auction rather than a buy it now. There is only the tiniest amount of play. I've been happy with it - as much as I'd like a properly worded one off of a 3572.50 I don't really care for the price.

I was just about to mention that there is a seller on ebay offering display backs for sale for 155, but they accepted an offer for less than half. I haven't tried the back yet, but it would seem to be the same noted above. At 65 usd, it's a steal compared to any others I've seen.

If the seller is "Ironman Shipping Worldwide" that is Thomas Priek. They sell them for fixed price, and list them as $0.99 starting auctions too sometimes, and if you don't end up bidding against too many people I've seen them go from $40-$60 dollars.

Wow. I'm very surprised he is selling them for less than 65 dollars, but I bought one today, so I guess it's true. This should be of great interest to many Speedmaster lovers. I saw that sold items went as low as 55 usd at auction and that his current listing was for about 155 usd BIN. So I figured I'd try to offer what the others sold for. He accepted 65 usd. That's a steal, in my humble opinion.
