That's for one in good condition. Could be even more.

Are you buying or selling? Your watch is not in good condition. The dial has been repainted not nicely. It's also already damaged, missing an hour marker. The balance bridge is wrong, it's been swapped for a cheaper one from cal. 351. It's now a franken movement.

The whole watch as is now worth the value of scrap gold (about 30gr) plus value of the part movement.

Wrong crown, so good luck finding a genuine gold capped 4 notched crown (loads of plated being sold, so be careful of ones sellers as NOS).

Main problem, Balance bridge is incorrect. It should have an RG styled bridge

If case is 30 grams (not including movement and crystal). Scrap gold value is about $900

Maybe $100 for movement. 2 parts semi important. Rest common and easy to find.

I just scrapped an 18kt watch bracelet 3 weeks ago and after some shopping around I received €24.15/gram cash in hand. Is 30gr not a bit an optimistic weight for a watch case like this?

I guess that's per gram of 18k gold. Present price given the current gold price is about $40 per gram of 24k gold or about $30 per gram of 18k gold.

Checked 2 gold converter sites that buy scrap gold and both were pretty close to each other in prices paid. Also based on the current ounce gold prices

As the site says (and I didn't mention). That's melt value. Buyer may pay less in order to make money, but don't know for sure unless you sell

This is quite interesting. As I understand this site is just for calculating, but who is going to pay this price?

OEGUSSA is our main local seller and buyer of gold - they offer only around 25$ per gram of 18K gold...

One site mentioned a payout of 70 - 80%, so your price is pretty close at 80%

Hate reading the fine print. Hard on the eyes
