1. General introduction
A very nice stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 1501, rare blue mosaic/shantung dial, lume, original Rolex bracelet 7835/257 in very good condition.

2. Detail

• Dial: Original blue mosaic/shantung/brick dial in very good condition, solid hour markers with lume, baton hands; date at 3; prints, hands, hour markers are all good.
• Case: The diameter is 34mm without the crown (but it feels like 35mm on wrist). Engine turned bezel; original case with in good condition with hairline scratches; there are small dents at 2 (see photos for more detail). Original Rolex crown. Serial number is 2447073, dated to 1970-1971.
• Movement: Caliber 1570 in very good condition. The watch is running, all functions work as they should. Last service in Mar 2025.

• Glass: New glass (replaced during last service), magnifying window at 3.
• Bracelet: Original 19mm Rolex bracelet reference 7835 with 257 end-links in very good condition, triple fold clasp featuring micro-adjust with Rolex logo. The bracelet feels solid and strong.

• Accessory: A blue handmade leather strap that goes well with the dial is included.
• Overall, this is a very good example of the reference.
