A dealer told me today that prices were increasing mid-January. The increase on the Speedmaster was going to be a touch over 4%.

Has anyone else heard of prices going up in January?

One AD tried to tell me the other day that the warranty on a pre-owned was non transferrable! Desperate measures and I explained in an email to his area manager that it was not how I expected to be treated after already purchasing two watches from same place. I also informed him that I would not be going back. He lost out on two subsequent sales and another early next year. Dipshit!

At least here in the US, I have heard nothing of any price increases. I suppose anything is possible but my guess is your sales associate was communicating through his backside.

Thanks. I'm in Canada by the way. I figured it is possible that some countries have increases while others don't, due to currency changes in 2018.

Nevertheless it seems it's in both Canada and USA.
