I need to set my budget up for my next vintage. I am thinking of the 166.073 Seamaster 120 "Deep Blue". All original. How much should I anticipate? Chrono24 has one for $2800, not even the right bracelet.
Hi Tom, if you are looking at the one in Florida, I am pretty sure it has a later luminova service dial and luminova hands. The original dial should have the T before and after the Swiss Made mark at 6. Compare it to the Chrono24 one for offer in Switzerland, which shows an original dial (but more expensive).
Well, I bought mine for €1200 plus another €200 for a service last July from a vintage dealer who picked it up in an estate buy. I "think" I got lucky as I've not seen one at that price since But I've only seen a few for sale on eBay and chrono24. The one you mention has been out there for awhile I believe. Really looking forward ward to comments from others as well...just not heaps of info out there on these. Good luck! Mike
My Sunday watch, on a tropical strap. I spent a lot of time worrying about it not listing the depth (120), until I found several pictures on the web showing the same dial. Mike is right, not much info out there, especially compared to the 300m version.
This one just sold in a straight ebay auction for US$3.2k and it looked like a good one to me - http://www.ebay.com/itm/271439205677?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network happy hunting!
Well, i sold mine with correct bracelet, and bought from second owner since new (and never opened until i got it) for much less...
This one, recently for sale here on OF : http://omegaforums.net/threads/rare-vintage-original-omega-seamaster-120-deep-blue.10111/ Very nice one ;-)
