·Few modern watches have achieved legend status as instantly as the Tudor Black Bay. And then to see its initial release discontinued in such a relatively short amount of time, it created the perfect modern collector storm we have here: the Tudor Black Bay Heritage “Smiley.” This is the watch that put Tudor back on the map in North America. And this is the discontinued model everyone wants, found here in a FULL SET with some great extra straps!

DATE: 2015
DIAL: Fantastic combo that you no longer get with the blue BB 58, a black dial adding nice contrast to the blue bezel. Dial is in great condition, as you can see in the close-up macro shots, gorgeous with that light pebbled finish. And of course that sweet “smiling face” lettering. The bezel has a few tiny hairlines but presents beautifully, and going back to the original Marine Nationale, I don’t know if anyone does blue better than Tudor!
CASE: 41mm stainless case in good shape with wear throughout as you’d expect on a nearly ten year old tool watch. A light polish would bring it back to new but I always opt to leave original, keeping those case lines as they should be! Mostly seen on the polished sides and case back (exaggerated under macro and bright natural light) looks fantastic on the wrist!
CRYSTAL: Sapphire crystal looks great, a tiny hairline or two seen under a loupe but presents perfectly.
MOVEMENT: Part of what makes this one collectible, Tudor using a modified ETA movement, making it easily serviceable and incredibly solid. Service history on this one is unknown but running incredibly well, timegrapher is showing 8 seconds a day with an amplitude of 293!
BRACELET/STRAPS: Comes on its original stainless Tudor bracelet, which also has age related wear throughout, but looks great as well. Currently sized to about 7.5 inches, comes complete with two extra links. Also comes with two additional unworn straps, a gorgeous blue leather strap to class it up and then a beautiful blue with red accents rubber strap to make it even sportier.
ACCESSORIES: Full and complete AD set - double boxed, warranty card, booklets, everything down to the original red hang tag was kept!
PRICE: $2895 which will include 2 day fully insured shipping through FedEx anywhere in the US. Face-to-face deals in the Los Angeles area are always welcomed with a small discount offered.
PAYMENT: Venmo friends and family, Zelle, Wise, or bank wire.
