Hey guys, Just wondering how hard it is to find a caseback for a 145.012-67 specifically in my case. my speedmaster came with a 145.022 - 69. i know they exist but what amount of EXTRA casebacks not being used do you think are actually laying around for purchase/use? its the final piece to my speedmaster being correct but im losing hope ill find one. anyone else have this trouble or information on the topic? thanks
If it were me I'd just buy a Thomas Preik clear caseback http://www.customwatchconcepts.com Cheap, effective, and cool if you're keeping the watch to wear
A few more posts and you can post a wtb. 145.012 casebacks do pop up. Keep a close watch on ebay. Don't give up hope. A -69 caseback has value too. Maybe someone out there needs a trade.
id be willing to trade, without a doubt + cash. i really hope i find one been refreshing ebay every day
I have a new service dial 145.0012 available See this link https://omegaforums.net/threads/fs-...rts-2-dials-2-crowns-2-pushers-crystal.36812/
i see lots of the 145.0012 but i know they are not a vintage part that would have came on mine or a premoon speedy. they are new arent they?
whats a priek? the 69 does the trick cosmetically from the outside but i know on the inside its hiding its dirty little secret (69)
Preik, http://www.customwatchconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=21 ..yes, I know what you mean.. don't worry, one will turn up eventually.
fingers crossed!, assuming i get to sell my 145.022-69 once i get a caseback where do you think would be the best place to sell it ? the bay or here for a fixed price it will be on the chopping block eventually
I bought a 68 transitional last year with an incorrect caseback and almost immediately a member reached out to do a swap. You'll get one eventually. Isn't there a thread going right now where someone has just bought a straightlug with a 67 back?
