    hey guys,

I'm looking at a 105.003 which is in Running condition. the case is nice, the dial not so much, but one that I would consider (especially since I plan to wear).

One thing I'm stuck on however is the movement number. the case back is stamped -65, but the movement number falls into the range of a -64 by both MWO and speedmaster101 references. in particular, it's 22,087,xxx. MWO would classify this as a -63 to -64. Speedmaster101 would classify it more specifically as a -64.

knowing that there is some variability with older speedies, but also appreciating that more precise information is becoming more commonly available, what do the experts say? is this OK for a 105.003-65 despite being in the range for earlier versions?

Any opinions you can share would be very much appreciated!

Sorry OB1, trust the Force(s) as they are correct. This movement number is too low to be a 105.003-65.

I own a 105.003-64 movement 22824xxx and a 105.003-65 movement 22825xxx. These are right at the 64 upper and 65 lower movement numbers per MWO. I also have a 2014 Omega extract for the 65 which shows a production date of March, 1966. As the 105.003-65 began production in 1966, I don't think there is must evidence to support a 105.003-65 with a movment number of 22087xxx.

Sorry. But I think you knew the answer before you asked the question.
