Looks like a lovely 105.003 Ed White with correct dial and bezel and a very nice case with little polishing. In fact, it's exactly what I'm on the lookout for  . To my eyes just the second hand looks non-original but let's see what everyone else says...

I'm working on getting a shot of the case back and movement. Anything else I should look at?

The very first thing I thought was the second hand when I held it today.

105.003, T-SWISS-T dial looks nice, and the one lug I can see has good bevel. Wrong sweep seconds. Looks like a forum member just sold the head he had listed (at $5,500 but I don't know the actual sale price).
How's the other lugs? Caseback engraving? Movement?

The case looks fresh compared to the bezel. It looks a bit worked, and even with a wrong hand, if the price is good, don't hesitate to buy.

This is becoming a rare reference, but the prices achieved still have a wide spread. It is the least loved straight lug reference, but I have been seeing examples in the $5000+ territory. Many have problems, as I think as the least loved, they were the least cared for.

After all, this money used to buy 2998's of the later -4 onwards.

This example looks nice, the dial has a change going on, but I would like to see a photo in another light, because so far it is not a valueable change.

i will be interested to watch the price of 003's in the coming 12 months.

    i would buy this one.

the chrono hand is a small issue.

Please elaborate. And what are the more desirable straight lug references?

Lots of threads here but in summary for straight lug:

    2915, 2998, and 105.002
