Hey guys, With the rising price of pre-moon speedmaster bracelets, and the availability of 'stretched' pieces, can these worn bracelets be restored like I have seen done with other vintage bracelets (jubilee etc..)? Thanks, Edwin.
Yes, I don't remember the names of the specialists, but there are those that do this and I am sure someone will be along to provide the information.
Just received 2 Omega bracelets back from Michael. A+ work. (Keep in mind about 6 weeks lead time and a base price of $250 a pop).
Thanks for the help guys! Makes me less hesitant to buy a worn example knowing that these can be restored.
If you just need new springs for your 1039, you could try urdelar.se. They sell them for 180 SEK each. The URL is here: http://www.urdelar.se/image/cache/data/bracelet/omega1039_bracelet_springs_1-800x800.jpg
