The seller will have to wait a long time for someone to agree with a near 4k asking price.

Someone for whom a Seamaster chronometer certified in a gold case is more valuable than for me, can give such a sum. Anyway, now the price is already lower by almost a thousand.

All in all, with the price, I think I could come to an agreement. I lost my vigor when I found out it was Seamaster, not a piece related to Connie.

Ha, didn’t think of that ref. Does yours say Seamaster on the dial? The OPs watch is certainly right at the edge of that change, I have a 12278xxx serial 2520 listed as one that carried the model name.

That 2520 doesn't belong to me; that photo was from a link posted on WatchProsite ten years ago, and unfortunately the link is now a dead end, so we'll never know who owns it unless the present owner is a current member of Omega Forums.

Here's a ref 2520 that belonged to a friend of mine . . .

. . . until a few years ago. I can't remember, though, if the dial was original to the watch or not. Bill wasn't a stickler for originality until later in his collecting career, and was prone to either having dials refinished [🙁] or finding spare dials on eBay as replacements.

Here’s the dial side of that watch. (Not mine)
