    Fierce bidding on this but looks like incorrect case and incorrect hands to me?

    Case looks fine, hands do not. Hands can be replaced with those from more common models, however.

    The hands are incorrect but pretty easy to source. The part that is super-rare on this watch is the crown! There were two variations of this cal. 294. the earlier one, pictured here, has a blank case back, and this particular signed, domed crown, which I believe is unique to this early model of the 294. The later 294's have the green enamel medallion on the back, and a beautiful but non-functional scalloped crown that tears up your fingers.
