power reserve Speedmaster experiences

Hi,

Well for the Speedmaster, I am familiar with the specified power reserve of the 3861 movement (50 hours) and of the 1863 movement (48 hours).
This made me curious. What would my 145.022-69 do with a 861 movement? So I wound on my Speedmaster, and it stopped after 50 hours and 34 minutes. That surprised me and I am quite impressed.

I wondered, what power reserve do you experience with your 145.022 Speedmasters?

Matth

Okay, let's test with x2 861, with 22 years between them...😁

I have a 145.022-69 and a 3894.50. They're identical in operation. Same number of crown turns to full wind and both run a bit over 51 hours. Don't remember exactly as I did this experiment years ago. The cal. 861 is a fine movement.

The Astronauts did not really care .....

Either do I…. As long as it does 24hrs between winds I’m happy

Result:
861 from 1971: 40h... 😲
861 from 1993: 49h

Thanks for sharing! A power reserve of 40h for a 71-er 861 could be a bit unexpected, but what is actually the pre-specified power reserve of a 145.022-71? Is it in the papers of such a Speedmaster?
