Potential scam thru WTB post

I recently posted a WTB post for a 1039 clasp dated 2 or 4/67.

I have been contacted by "mikebree" thru the OF with a PM with an email send from [email protected]



I contacted "mattewharding283" and he proposed to sell me a NOS(?) 1039 clasp from 2/67 and we agreed
to a price.
The Paypal address he gave me wasn't his address, but that from his son...

To cut a long story short this is a copy of my last email to the "seller"

there are to many issues for me in this deal:

1. I didn't receive any picture of the clasp.
2. The Omega Forum message that I received from your "friend" mikebree is no longer active!?
3. The paypal account you gave me is blocked by Paypal

Mikebree is mentioned in this thread as well. Been a couple WTB scams lately. Be careful with a WTB but they’re usually pretty obvious. I wouldn’t trust any new member myself.
