Potential purchase of Seamaster 165.002, cal 552 from 1968. After some advice

Dear Forum,

I am hunting out my first vintage Seamaster and have luckily managed to avoid some close calls with...let's just say not the right watches thanks to the experts on this forum 馃榾 hugely greatfull.

So I am reaching out once again, I have been contacted by someone selling their Seamaster...they have given a good amount of detail (original, un polished, small dent around the 9-10 but hardly visible) and been open to suggest I post the images on here for comment which is encouraging and priced at 拢475. Any comments appreciated here they are;

The watch looks very good, unpolished and clean and the price sounds fair...

Is the bracelet included?

I wanted to reach out to thank you all for the advice on this thread and share the thrilling news that I received this watch this morning and couldn't be happier! The seller was anabsolute pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to ensure I was confident and happy with the purchase. it was his idea I posted this thread in the first place!

I find the OF amazing, with all the info and all you lot ready with your advice and experience so thank you once again!

I am a very happy Seamaster owner and will wear it with pride!

Great catch! This is a versatile watch that dresses both up and down and has some lovely vintage style to it. Wear in good health!

Congratulations Dave @DJG2645 wear it in good health! If your local to Cambridgeshire/Norfolk, perhaps a catch-up is in order to show it off over a pint 馃憤
