Have cubans gone up in price dramatically over the past year? I bought a few in Grand Cayman a year ago for $15-$25 each. Last week I was in Nassau and the only shop I could find that sold from a humidor wanted $70. I walked out.
Depends on which cigars you're talking about, but generally no. Cohiba Behike's are always astronomical though.

Thanks for the reply, I don't remember the exact ones but they had a few boxes of Montecristos and some Romeo y Julietta. Nothing looked real premium but then they were an outlet for a local brand and maybe they were trying to steer customers in that direction. I was a bit disappointed as I'm down to my last one.

Check out “ihavanas” out of Switzerland, 100% legit and great prices. I’ve been using them for years.
