Here's one that's definitely in the "unpopular" category ... and I like it even more for the fact that people don't like it. I did put it up for sale to finance another but withdrew it to keep.

The Corum Bubble (original auto chrono)

In terms of under rated:

Roamer - in house movements, long history and great designs. Not just simple in house movements either, but decent complications - date pointers, alarms, autos, etc. They didn't do an in-house chronograph though, but they did do some chronometers. Quality about the same as Kurth (Certina)

I had an itch one day, and I happened upon this Chronostop on the Bay. I bid on It half heartedly, never expecting that I'd be the winning bidder! Once it arrived, and I put it on, I was surprised by its size, and fit on my wrist. It's a very cool and comfortable watch to wear. 👍

🥰 I'm a Corum fan too.

Beautiful! Reminds me I have a NOS dial to put on a pointer date Benrus. Gotta pull out the bin and see where I'm at with that.

No such thing. I see you have quite a few more watches than the last time I checked your collection out.

Still got the Chopard?

I remember that one. Do you remember mine? It's still waiting on its lug repair. It's large for a Benrus calendar.

I also picked up this Benrus nos dial in Nov, here it is test fitted to the watch

I have lost count. I seem to mostly be adding new trench watches to my collection these days. I have Roamer pretty much covered - only find the odd one I need now and then.

See, the strange thing is that I'm not really a Corum fan. The Golden Bridge is a thing of beauty and, when I saw one, I was in awe of that movement. Their coin watches .. don't even make me look twice. The Admiral's Cup? Oversized and pretty boring (I've no idea what all the flags mean). The Bubble, though, is just really different. I have no idea how many special dials they did and I do find them pretty hit and miss. I used to be a serious poker player and so you'd think I would like the "poker" dials, but no. The "Devil" I quite like but it's the original chrono dials that work best, for me. Every time you move your wrist, the watch changes and the lume comes to life even in just a poorly lit room. For me, that one really works (even if it's just a simple ETA 2892 with a bit of decoration
(That's the condition I bought this one in at auction ... I didn't let it get that dirty, I promise!)
