It has an automatic but doesn't say "Automatic" on the dial? That's weird - unless it was refinished or something was replaced (either the dial or the movement was put in a quartz watch). It's probably a 99x inside.

Now I'm curious - I'm almost certain the watch was brand new and in its box when I got it. I can't see any evidence that's a redial, but at the same time I dont know what to look for. I will try to open the back case and see what's underneath!

This is my 1950's longines made during longines best year's ,,they are way undervalued I got this for £150 from a small secondhand jewellers that was too obsessed by rolex and omega to see how good this watch is.. i View attachment 65491 [/quote]
