Below two watches that I changed the original strap to a blue strap...they soothe my weary soul:)

Anyone else have some blue strap beauties to post?...

I’ve been having some fun trying out this Jean Rousseau coated nylon NATO on a few watches, but so far this is the one it has worked best on

    OK, I'll play :)

Blue straps on watches I no longer own:

Predictably, I'm drawn to that mysterious Blue Globemaster strap, would love to know where that one came from.
    The Zeniths look pretty btw.

9E59C101-B9BF-4394-A530-BEB344A86B36.jpeg Would appear more blue with a better photographer. Two great Italian shell cordovan from @jankoxxx and a stock Seiko.

I think blue looks sweet on gold and especially red gold.

It probably used to be bright blue all over, but now it is a little tired. When I get the chance it will have a nice NOS red strap.

That wittnauer / venus 188 of yours is one of my favorite watches. It's really a top chronograph, IMO.

Also fascinating to me that the red paint has stayed so red over so many years. Red is notorious for "giving up the color"...for example: think of how many nice older red cars you see...hardly any - the paint always looks washed out, right? Even garage kept.

They must have used some super powerful lead based pigments for that dial lmao

Right on Rich, that;s why I don't lick that dial! :D

Did you see @Larry S's Longines up above. Simply spectacular!
