    Hi guys.

Just bought this watch yesterday with certificate, unfortunately the numbers don’t match :( (2453xxxx on the paper, 1841xxxx on the movement, see attached photo).

Question: could this movement come from an early speedy, making the movement actually worth more than the whole watch?

Bonus info: snap back case says “101 010 65”. Certificate dates 13.12.1967. Also have original receipt and tax document with the same date.

I am illiterate in 321 - But I believe it could be from an early speedy, could be from an early Seamaster. Order and extract and see if you're lucky... I put 18415000 into ilovemyspeedmaster.com and it pulled out a 2998 speedy (if it were a speedy)...

You have the wrong coupling yolk and regulator for an 18M, implies the serial number was swapped onto this movement

An earlier one I'd say because the caliber 321 is from 61/62.

so, just because I want to be sure. The movement is 1961/62, but the coupling yolk ( i guess I know the latter as a clutch bridge?) and regulator comes from a newer movement?

Should be a symetrical clutch bridge in a 18xx 321, this one is asymetrical.
