Almost a year ago I was lucky to make this 166.068 my first purchase on this forum from @Tom Dick who kindly passed on an extraordinary barn find.

After patiently waiting through 2 services, the first at the hands of a watchmaker I will never use again, she's back and running like a dream.

I really like this colored NATO but haven't found it's equivalent in 22mm so the hunt is on for a new strap. I'd love to find a Banana sidekick but it will be hard to a dial that can come close to this!

Finding the bracelet and end pieces is of course the hard part I've never quite the same shade of green on a NATO oddly. I tend to try a bunch of different straps til something seems to stick. Definitely a chunky piece I think the weight balance of the bracelet will probably be the best in the long run if I can find one.

After searching for one for a while I just stumbled across this one on one of my regular trips to the Portobello Road markets a few years back - wear it regularly and it is still one of my favourites.




I do have the original bracelet and end pieces but prefer the mesh.

 

Have u considered a mesh strap?
