Almost a year ago I was lucky to make this 166.068 my first purchase on this forum from @Tom Dick who kindly passed on an extraordinary barn find.

After patiently waiting through 2 services, the first at the hands of a watchmaker I will never use again, she's back and running like a dream.

I really like this colored NATO but haven't found it's equivalent in 22mm so the hunt is on for a new strap. I'd love to find a Banana sidekick but it will be hard to a dial that can come close to this!

Fun piece. I'm not a diver style watch guy but they are beginning to grow on me a bit.

Finding the bracelet and end pieces is of course the hard part :) I've never quite the same shade of green on a NATO oddly. I tend to try a bunch of different straps til something seems to stick. Definitely a chunky piece I think the weight balance of the bracelet will probably be the best in the long run if I can find one.

After searching for one for a while I just stumbled across this one on one of my regular trips to the Portobello Road markets a few years back - wear it regularly and it is still one of my favourites.

I do have the original bracelet and end pieces but prefer the mesh.

After looking at lots of yellow dialed versions this year that have pretty worn dials it is really nice to see this beauty.
