Trawling through some old images and came across this one, what was I thinking ? Wouldn't be half so bad were it not for all that fixed bar showing Anyone else want to confess their sins ?
That's no worse than the 20-something at a local bank who wears a HUGE snow-white G-shock with a shirt and tie.
Years ago I put this South American Ebay purchased Constellation on a BOR of indeterminate origin because I became keen on BOR bracelets upon learning they existed. Not really an attractive combination, but it is handy as the only watch on a bracelet that I have. An additional '57 vintage Constellation has since been acquired to satisfy my preference for straps on watches.
This is the army dress uniform I'll be wearing next Saturday at an event: You won't believe what my colleagues wear on their wrists when dressed in one of these I've seen Suuntos and G-Shocks and huge diver's watches... It looks appalling.
Very smart T. I used to enjoy the full dress mess dining in nights. It was all "pomp and circumstance" for the entry and the dinner and a few drinks after, but then it usually got "a bit rowdy". Especially when bets and dares were involved. Have fun and wear a proper watch.
But of course A stable part of the entertaintment is the rule stating that guests can hand in their place cards with a subject he or she wishes to hold a speech about written on the rear side... The fun part is to hand in other's cards with some outrageous subject - the officer will then have to wing it in front of the crowd
Military style on trench strap .... not a faux pas in my book. I am however moving away from this on my Longines.
...yeah, I know. Thing is, I secretly really like bund straps. Still need to get me a proper vintage one like Alpha's.
