    Like Seikos, there seems to be a lot of pocket watches hiding in the Omega Forum woodwork. So lets see them! Hold nothing back, Omegas, American railroad pieces, Russian... um... stuff... all of it. If you know the watch's history lets hear it.

    I'll kick it off... Digging through Dad's stuff recently (they're downsizing to an apartment) I found a stash of his old railway stuff.

    First... his Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineer pins. Cool stuff as he started out on steam engines.

    The engine in the book is a CNR Mountain class engine.... number 6060 of this series still survives in a museum in western Canada, he ran that very engine when it was still in regular service. The watch is a Hamilton 992B of the type he wore on the engines.
    P1030096.JPG
    The 992B movement, Dad's watch is still around as well.
    P1030097.JPG

    The picture is likely of Port Arther station (now Thunder Bay) as that was Dad's home ground.

    So come on guys... out with the history! Let see it.

    Good idea, boss. :thumbsup:

    All my pocket watches are American railroad machines.

    NOTE: The Mad Dog action figure pictured below is authentic...also, the Hooters Girl action figure pictured below is authentic.

    I think this little Omega is from the turn of the century, and is a fob/pendant at 35mm designed for a lady, with a 13’’’ movement inside.

    I fell in love with the case and decided that it needed to come and live with me.

    Where to start. ::confused2::

    BB45A521-FE27-492D-88ED-2A10347297D7.jpeg 769B3855-E787-4495-86B1-F12B5638B3B8.jpeg

    The above are mostly American railroad grade. But the Swiss made a good railroad standard watch as well. This one is a Louis Brandt (Omega) grade CCR, 19xjewel model. Swis kakers such as Brandt, Longines, and Zenith made railroad standard watches which were approved on Canadian and some AU S railroads.
