PO2500 with 2500D. 15 mm thickness on 42mm?

I have a PO2500 with the 2500D movement 8.6 mil serial. Everywhere on the Internet, the thickness of the watch is quoted at 14mm to 14.5mm. But, my high quality analog dial caliper measures it at 15mm.

Does anyone know if the case thickness on the PO2500 increased when Omega went from 2500C to 2500D movement?

Thanks.

The 2201.50 is just about 15 mm thick, your measurement is accurate. I'm fairly certain that any information online that suggests there is a difference in height between the D and C movements is incorrect.

The modern 8800 "39mm" planet ocean has a height of just over 14mm.

It's really not uncommon for internet sources to get watch heights wildly incorrect, and Omega does not list the height of the reference you are discussing on the website description unfortunately.

No, there isn't any such suggestion. I was just curious if the case size went up when the movement jumped from 2500C to 2500D because there are lots of websites including reviews that list the thickness at 14 to 14.5 mm, and a youtube review that shows a digital caliper measurement of 14 mm. But, my dial calipers consistently measure it between 0.588" and 0.590" which is 15 mm.
