Was extremely happy to buy my first omega a few days ago, however I have noticed that the bezel 12oclock marker seems to be very slightly out ( i mean less than one click, probably around 1/4 of a second), seems to be a little to the right of where it should be. either that or the dial 12oclock marker is out...just wondering what people suggest about this, it really is a small thing, but then its an expensive watch.

I dont want to go down the road of having omega "fix" it unless it seems worthwhile.

(have also added 11 and 1 markers for reference)

see what you think!

I don't suppose it really matters what anyone else thinks, if it annoys you that much take it back. Or move it on one more click and see if there's any play in the bezel that allows it to line up better.

If it annoys you, you should have a watch maker fix it. Its nothing major, just cosmetics ;-)

Personally I don't think that's acceptable. It should be a high quality piece and you shouldn't be annoyed by a fresh purchase. OCD? Maybe just a bit. 馃檮

When it comes time for service...do it then. In the meantime...? Marvel at the beauty and seeming simplicity of the whole thing.

It is noticeable, and I'd notice it, but having gone through this with a brand-new Sinn, waited nearly a year for a resolution, and then received back a watch with more flaws (and revenge scratches) than the watch I'd sent in -- not sure it's worth the bother of sending in for this alone. Agree with others that it's best addressed as part of a service, within warranty, so long as it's documented now. To that end, might be worth at least getting a ticket so they'll fix it at that point, though I admit my ignorance in terms of that process with Omega.

Is it the first thing you now see when you look at the watch, if so send it away to be fixed, you will not be able to unsee it.

It would shit me massively. I use rotating bezels a lot, & expect them to be well aligned.
