    Hello everybody,

I am new to the forum and in my first post I would like to show you my 42 mm Planet Ocean with 1171 bracelet.
I like the vintage look and wanted to wear the watch on a light steel bracelet.

The combination with the 633 end links works quite well and can certainly be made even better with a little bit of filing.

Summary: Omega Seamster Planet Ocean 2201.50.00, bracelet 1171/1, end links 633, standard spring bars.

This looks great 'on paper', how about a wrist shot?

Looks terrific! How does the weight feel? Is it top-heavy at all or is the bracelet a good balance?

My thoughts also. I’ve got a 45.5 3313 on bracelet and it’s hefty to balance out. I’ve got a 1171/1 on a Speedy and it’s significantly lighter.

The other thing to note is the PO bracelets can be modified to the new expansion clasp while the 1171 can’t. Also big case 45.5 po’s either 2500 or 3313 can’t take this bracelet as they are 22mm.

I do have to admit it looks good on the retro inspired 2500 42mm.

To further complement the thread, here's a wrist shot of my 42mm Planet Ocean with 1171 bracelet.

Looks very good, I like it:thumbsup:

I am consistently amazed at the versatility of the 1171 and its ability to fit seemingly every Omega sports watch case.

Perhaps @nurseford25 can share pictures of the couple of watches he has on the new 1171.
