Planet Ocean Brushed Grey Edition looks j/a good as Cmaster, between the OEM Mesh. Love this Bracelet, worth every note. Since then bought all sizes except the 19mm, and a watch just to pair w them, anyone done that? Or am I a lone total WatchTurd. Anywrist, curious what other Wristanners think.

…huh?
Sorry @ShoopaChrono but if the internet world is moving to CM for Seamaster then I'm finally out for good. I'll just be happy enjoying my own watches, alone.

Nice watch and bracelet combination though.
More than happy to see your others.

No need to be, I didn’t agree to Pepsi, Starbucks, Batman… either… (wrong brand I know), it’s what we like that matters more, not snarky acronyms or uninvited replies (not yours)

Yes! it is a nice combo, Thanks!

I don't know what CM and CMaster are. Ceramic Master? Chrono Master? I'm being serious.

You’re asking in a decent manner so I’d be happy to anoint you with the secret, instead of godawful-guess it, It is how it sounds C=Sea/Master which this band is marketed with, same family as the Seamaster Planet Ocean=PO.

It’s bit of a head-scratcher how PO isn’t being questioned.

That's because PO are the initials of Planet Ocean. No one here, Rolexforum, watch youtube bloggers, or any other watch media refer to the Seamaster as CM. You're the first person I've seen use CM for Seamaster. Which is why everyone is confused.

Anyway, nice watch and welcome to Omegaforums.

But are you a wristanner?

Sorry again @ShoopaChrono but you are talking to a bunch of mainly older (gentle?)men here. I, for one, spend a lot of my time on the grumpy setting. 😉

Seamaster is SM, more specifically SMP or SM300 or some other combination. initialisms take the first letter of the word. "CM" said "sea emm" is reading one letter as how it sounds to emulate a word, and then using M for master. Not an initialism, so literally no head scratching as to why PO makes sense and CM is never how this is written.

Anyway, great look on that mesh.

It’s because I am actually from the Planet Omega and don’t know the proper Acronyms, but, regardless of where one is from, is there a rule book here that says you have to use the common terms? A foreigner, stranger couldn’t just join an interesting site to camaraderie-ingly ask, share, etc, if it’s understood, welcome, if you don’t understand then cordially ask, like you’d to any stranger on the street asking for direction or move on to what’s more interesting to you. Isn’t this a watch enthusiasts site? Sharing about watches? Or is it an acronym corrective action forum? Am I missing something, was PO or any other “proper” acronyms created and approved via the World Federal Online Acronym Agency boardroom, collectively, then constitutionalized.

I choose to use Cmaster, and I shall use Cmaster, because Cmaster is what I refer to it as in my Planet. I hope this place isn’t racist against a bit of accent or not so good Watch-forum language. Cmaster makes sense to me, because it’s the watch I’m referring to in a watch forum. Maybe I just don’t want to type 2 more letters?

It’s kind of forehead line-forming that this forum takes how one uses wording a bit differently, then the first response is a passive/defensive comment, condescendingly questioning and chuckling at it. Shouldn’t it have been what the thread was really about? O’ that looks ok, great, or not for me, ai hate metal bracelets, grey sucks, Love it… if not then say nothing, right??

My logic is SM should be unenabled, because it could be for SpeedMaster, SeaMaster. I use CM, Cmaster. You can ALWAYS criticize my watches, but never discriminate my language, Identity, color of my language or skin, my language is part of me. Watches are why we’re here not anything else, especially peraonal prerogatives.

Good on you, mate. That's funny. 😉
Don't take anything personally. Please.

So what other widths does the mesh bracelet come in?
What other watches have you bought?
I found your moonphase. Very nice too. Way above my league. 👊

Thanks. That does not make intuitive sense to me which is why it was confusing. I've never seen someone write Seamaster that way. Planet Ocean is often abbreviated PO so no problems there.

As an aside, I've always wondered why the Seamaster is abbreviated SMP when it could equally apply to Speedmaster Professional. Which we instead call the Speedy. Maybe we should call the Seamaster the Seamy.

yup, not too serious, thanks~

-comes 19/20/21/22, I've got 20, 21, 22. fit is bit wonky but it's phenomiinal quality, looks, and its haft compensate the nominal discomfort.
-Hopefully I can post/share some of them, will I find your collection/watches/watch somewhere on this site?
-yeah, I was looking for a SpdMaster out of 'C' of them, sorry couldn't help it, and to me it was it, a MoonWatch w/ a Moonphase comp., kinly-paired/toleranced complication. Since I'm a collector of Vareity of Brands and not of Series/Type

"That does not make intuitive sense to me"
reminiscing of my-wifey; I refuse it. but your prerogative and respected.
"we should call the Seamaster the Seamy"
I love it!, you are on to something here, how about Cme? No? Like I said I'm from a different planet.

A foreigner, stranger couldn’t just join an interesting site to comaraderie-ingly ask

Indeed, they (the new user) could ask which acronyms or initialisms to use.

Organizations and groups have used initialisms and acronyms for a very, very long time to not just shorten letters used but to facilitate communication. That means there needs to be an agreed upon short form.

I don't totally understand these "my planet/I'm from planet Omega" comments - please clarify for my understanding- but Planet Earth internet pretty much has an agreed abbreviation list for these watches. As does this forum. Curious if you've ever heard the phrase "when in Rome," but if you haven't it's a good rule of appendage for being the stranger dealing with a large, already established group.

BTW, the pictures you have shared so far have been stunning. I think the strap choice on that PO looks great, as does the mesh. I would love to see more wrist shots of it, and more pictures of your Speedy.

It's enough jibbergument.... I am going to agree to disagree, and not give in if you don't mind, be a Rebel in Rome~

thank you for the compliment, and verfification, don't want to be the one in the room w/ Richard Mille, my opion but I hate them.
PO pic you referred to, It's currently one of my favorite band+head meshup. And, yes, my Moonphaser is great w/ the GreySoMoon-Band, great alternative to the Metal Band that came with, which I love as well, it's a different watch when on Gator-dress. I did try the Mesh on the Speedy and it's '???', probably mean, doesn't look that mating. and yes, I will try to share more. Which Speedy do you have? any PO? a CM?ha
