PO deployment clasp compatability between 43.5 mm and 42 mm

I'm looking to sell my black PO 43.5 mm SS and buy a blue PO 42mm Titanium on Titanium instead (last discontinued version) and also to buy a blue rubber strap to fit the dial and bezel color . The 43.5 is way too big and heavy for my 16cm wrist. My PO 43.5 has also an alternative Omega black rubber strap with a SS deployment clasp. I love the ability swapping from bracelets to straps from time to time as it gives a refreshing new look to your watch. (I wish that trick could work on my wife as well, 馃榾)
To make long story short, will a 43.5 deployment clasp (21 tapered to 18 mm on the strap I guess) be interchangeable with a 42 PO watch strap( 20 tapered to 18 mm).
I know some will say isn't that ideal to mix a Titanium body with a SS clasp but that is not that dramatic to me.
I did not attach photos of the clasp or strap as all are Omega genuine parts.
Thanks

Yes, you can swap them. Had a 42mm PO and bought a rubber strap at the boutique and they gave me the newer clasp with the sharp edge used for the 43.5mm (and a whole lot of other Omegas like the Diver 300M) instead of rounded which is what it came with from the factory.

part number was 094521893 according to the receipt

unlikely that a 43.5mm deployment clasp will be interchangeable with a 42mm PO watch strap, even if the tapered widths are the same. The reason for this is that the clasps and straps are designed to fit specific models and sizes of watches, and may not be compatible across different models and sizes.

Thank you guys, I am looking into both options to buy as a 42mm new old stock ( Titanium on Titanium vs. Titanium on rubber strap) and averagely the price difference is around 2000 USD.
That is a 45% more for just a bracelet instead of a strap!
I wonder if that is justified, my instincts tell me to go with the strap option and try to source the bracelet aftermarket though I couldn't find any available sellers on the net for neither Titanium bracelet and rubber stitched strap.
