PO 8500 vs PO 8500 GMT. Is the GMT thicker?

    I seem to recall that the GMT PO is thicker, or do I have it wrong? Thanks

    The po gmt is thicker than the regular 8500.
    As I recall,above 17 mm...
    But the proportions are great(43.5x17).
    Tryed it my self at my local ad and the size of this watch is just great.

    Hi Guys have a PO GMT inbound myself...
    (and proper looking forward to receiving it I am too) :)
    As has been mentioned yes its thicker, but the actual case is a much more suitable 43.5 which (to me) feels significantly more at home on the wrist vs the PO Diver @ 45.5

    The GMT is reported being thicker.

    -PO 8500 (42mm) is 15.7 mm, Source: WUS
    -PO GMT 8605 (43.5mm) is 17.25mm, Source: WatchTime.com

    Yup, agreed. It's slightly thicker, but not noticeable with the increased size. The GMT works best on my 6.75" wrist.
