When I first got into vintage watches back in 2003 this was for a long, long time my dream watch. At that time a solid gold version was top of my list of must haves. Trying to find one that hadn't suffered from water ingress forced me after a few years to give up the hunt and then as they do my tastes changed and I forgot about them as other forms of this madness took hold and my eye wandered. Having said that if one popped up for the right price today I wouldn't hesitate to add it to my collection. There is also that Angelus chrono with the big date that is quite a looker too, do you have one of those?

The Chrono-datoluxe. Yes, of course I have one. It has a few issues, though, so I rarely wear it. ;)

I'm hoping that it will come in handy one day. A nice Chrono-Datoluxe is very near the top of my short list.

Something like this would do it for me:

Also, I'm looking for a correct date hand (red arrow) for my watch - I've never seen an example with that breguet hand, I'm pretty sure it's aftermarket. If anyone has one... please DM me.

not quite as glorious as the Chrono Datoluxe, the modest Dato12 is not without its charms...

Those lugs are spectacular. ::love:: I also prefer the location of the emblem on this dial than on the Datoluxe, more balanced. And it's a handsome movement too with the satin finished bridges.

A real beauty you got there.
