could you guys talk me through a potential ENICAR purchase? ...

I don't have too much info, but here we go:








No movement pics, but it holds a VALJOUX 92


A few educated guesses from my side:

- 1950ies?
- looks like an original dial
- looks like original hands (not sure about the red lollypop second hand though)
- replacement crown

I don't know very much about Enicar - but it does look rather nice


your thoughts?

'50's, if early the val 92 is without shock protection.

Dial looks right, chrono hand is a replacement I think.

 

guy asks for $1,200.00 .... that is (currently) a stretch for me ... how does that sound?

 

IMO way too much for condition. Would definitely be a pass for me.
