Ah ok, I see thanks for explaining. I can see the appeal and rarity factor of a genuine all original one. I love how it wears its 50 years with pride. Very nice.

Ok so deal done and now the owner of a 70’s Ploprof. Happy to join the small club with a big watch.

it has had lots of parts replaced but I can wear in confidence it should be able to handle it daily. A good thing was there was a couple of sheets of paper included which indicate a £1200 repair by omega in Southampton a few years ago. I assume this is when the dial, hands etc were replaced.
