I really liked the new ploprof clasp when I had the watch and for some reason had a spare. A little project with a "strap doctor" and this is what turned out ImageUploadedByTapatalk1430090209.295175.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1430090231.265512.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1430090288.610377.jpg

I'm not offended at all. I just bought the same clasp for my mesh. Nice work looks great!

Omega offered something similar in the 60s. I take no offense.

I think it is not an offense at all. I have made something similar with my flightmaster and I like very much the result. Furthermore, I think the Ploprof clasp is one of the most solid built and easy to adjust clasps in the market.

Some pics of my flightmaster with this clasp:

Very nice! The size and weight of the clasp is balanced by the watch. I tried something similar with a watchco SM300 and it was overpowered.
Can I ask where you got the rubber pieces? The fit looks perfect so I assume they are 22/20.

Referring to the offense......if you look at the 125, the modular movement has been plugged into a different case and some people are less accepting of things that did not leave the factory the same way.

The rubber strap is a Bonetto Cinturini, which is quite a good purchase... Genuine italian caoutchouc with vanilla scent. A good bang for the buck, as it should not cost more than 30 EUR. It is 22/20 and fits perfect. I took it cut to near the minimun length, as both the case and clasp are quite long.

I have realized you changed the case. If not, I think it can be near impossible to fit a strap in the lugs of the original integrated bracelet.... Anyway, the Speedy 125 is prepared for that... If not, why allowing to retire the movement from case and bracelet?

I have the new style Omega mesh with Ploprof clasp on my Planet Ocean and it is surprisingly comfortable.

^ May I ask why you are surprised it's so comfortable?

It is a huge and heavy bracelet compared to older Omega shark mesh bracelet. I was just surprised by the comfort and how it felt on my wrist.
The clasp itself is as big as the 42mm watch.

I had the older buckle type clasp with older mesh and switched to the newer ploprof clasp. While it is much bigger I find it balances out the total weight of the combo.
