Hi, I have a partial ploprof 600 that I am in the process of restoring. When I look on the parts diagram (the one on here http://www.ploprof.com/PloProf.html), there is a thing called a "rubber segment", which I understand to be a like a movement spacer (?). Unfortunately my collection of parts did not come with one, and I can't seem to find a part number for this item. If anyone can provide me with the part number I would appreciate it.
My best tip is to register an account at Cousinsuk.com and look up the parts available for the 166.077. There's a case part list at https://www.cousinsuk.com/PDF/categories/4218_Omega 166.0077 ST.pdf. Could it be what's called a "case gasket"? Part number 088NS5129. (Cousin's part number X19432).
why donĀ“t you try one of the rubber gaskets and cut it. Between the rubber segment and the gasket for the glass, there should the movement respectively the dial be situated
Thanks for the replies. Apparently the parts diagram that I was using is outdated, and the rubber segment does not appear on the updated one. Strange that Omega would decide it is no longer necessary, but that is what I am told.
