Sure. With a different dial, bezel insert, hands, and bracelet.
Would it be better just to get a different brand and model of watch? Rather than wait for Omega to resurrect the Peter Blake Seamaster then.....馃槀馃ぃ馃槀馃ぃ

Oh right, you want a faithful copy. That means a plastic crystal, a soft bezel insert and a crown that leaks, right? Omega did an updated faithful copy of the SM300 straight lug ie the original as one of the Trilogy releases and it didn鈥檛 sell too well so do you blame them for ignoring your wish for a new 拢8k Watchco?

ps if you can鈥檛 see the 60s influence in the 2254 then I give up!

Is that actually correct? I was under the impression and it did pretty well. It certainly does well on the secondary Market

It may do but it sat around in dealer windows for years after release. There were 7000 or so of each of the Trilogy watches. The Speedmaster sold out first after a few months, then the SM a long time later. I suspect they still have some of the Railmasters unsold still! I had one of the SM300s. It was nice but felt more chunky than either the 2254 or 50s original.

EDIT there were 3557 of each released it seems.

Fair point.

Not surprising considering how comfortable the 2254 case is.

I would like a remake of the 59 Cadillac Eldorado, but with modern chassis, body and an ev motor. Could I please have it for the original price tag of $7400? Am I asking to much, or does not Cadillac listen to its customers?

So glad I was lucky enough to buy the 2254 back in the day. It's one of the most comfortable watches I own, and I love the aesthetics. Most importantly, it has a Swiss lever escapement, so I can service it myself.
