There are bigger dicks Eric around here but can't think of any at the moment as I'm watching the Detroit Symphony Orchestra performing Samuel Barbers's Adagio for strings and I'm nearly crying (Lagavulin helped I admit) but it's the most haunting piece of American music ever composed.

I just listened to this on YT. Wow. Then this one popped up and even more wow. Just wow.

I think this is an important one to unpack. I’ve seen a lot of fake watches in my day, having lived in NYC for 30 years, hanging around with watch dealers at the old 26th St. flea market, 47th St, the Bowery and Canal St.

I have never seen a fake 321/861 Speedmaster that wasn’t glaringly obvious. Most of them look like this.

This watch is not glaringly obvious. I've also never seen an aged vintage fake Speedy. Are we talking a put together here, or 100% totally fake and faux aged?

The concentric subs? The step looks good. The printing looks good. The DON bezel seems off, but who goes to the lengths to make a fake DON bezel, then age it, then put a completely wrong movement inside?

The crown looks legit as do the hands.

So confused.
