Maybe we should all try and look a bit harder next time? Try not report items that look totally legit? As,
A) that seller gets his listing pulled because you didnt "believe" enough 馃檨 Poor sad seller did nothing wrong with his little white gloves on...
B) ACTUAL reporting of fakes has less "clout" on ebay if we all randomly report stuff :whipped:bad reporting BAD you shall be punished soundly!

My bad, over zealous , have written to Ebay to retract my report. Have criss check the serial, it checked out

Apologies to this group and seller

Let's not forget that eBay makes 10% of every sale - including fakes. Sounds like the fox is guarding the hen house...

Really? Do you actually think eBay wants counterfeit goods sold on it's platform?

Second listing was promptly removed after I reported it.

I don't think they necessarily "want" counterfeit goods sold, I just don't think they invest as much time in policing it as they could. While I am sure they have some people scouring through listings, it seems like most of the time, listings are removed after user reports. Even then, I have reported counterfeit items and watched them continue all the way to the end of the auction. I do think claims from users are bolstered when multiple users report the same item.

I continue to see a raft of $48 omegas being sold from (0) feedback users in China and have essentially given up reporting all these items. Maybe I am just a pessimist when it comes to eBay, but I share similar doubts with their "shill" bidding policy. "We thoroughly investigate every report we receive. Often what appears to be shill bidding isn't a violation." Unless items or users are physically removed from eBay you also can't tell if eBay even looked into your report due to user privacy.

Edit: I guess I can't type coretcrly

Don't just report listings to eBay, report them here too, the more people who are able to report bad items to eBay the more likelihood the items will be removed.
