bad experience with Exoticwatches.net !

Dear community,
just bought a Speedy 1969 Model at Exoticwatches.net
Link:
https://www.chrono24.de/omega/1969-...k--id3633911.htm?urlSubpath=/user/notepad.htm
In the beginning good communication until the watch was sold.
After recieving it i realized that the Chrono function is not working well at all and lower Pusher hangs, although it was descirbed as : "working smoothly, all chrono functions working well"
So I contacted the seller. He mailed me that he was busy an would get back to me....
Till date no reply anymore, also after several mails I've sent.....
Has anyone else experience with this seller?

adition:
According to my (Omega Certified) watchmaker it is probably only a maintainance problem, so I gave it for complete revision.
But still the behaviour of the seller is more than dissapointing....

I was just about to ask about anyone's experience of catawiki. And this watch in particular!
Poor how the images are small and none quite straight on. Is the star a bit close to the constellation script?
I read, probably on Desmond's blog, about watch lugs that were too angular.

Has any suggestion been made to start a "black list" of sellers?

Catawiki is sh*t.

Pay NO attention to the estimates their 'experts' come up with. They put €300 estimates on watches which you can get on Amazon for €150. And they let so many glaring BS pass on the watch descriptions.

I have pointed out several times in the past that the info was off to the auction management, they just don't care. Only recently they were claiming the watch contained a Lemania 51. I told them no such movement existed. They claimed it was probably a typo, it was a Lemania 5100... To which I pointed out that such would be rather special, seeing it was a hand wound movement (a Landeron). They ceased replying altogether.

opinions on this listing guys? will you take a chance considering he accepts Paypal, thus we are somewhat "covered". Of course hassles and disappointments is the downside. Problem is the movement pictures are blur. He guarantees timekeeping to be +/- 20 seconds a day.
all opinions and advises and education is greatly appreciated.
thanks all.

Those pics pop up now and again. Don't know if it's always the same guy or not. The other tip is the price. If it's too good to be true, well, yeah, be lucky anothe day.

Good luck with your hunt!

I don't know if this has already been reported but it looks decidedly dubious even with my extremely limited knowledge.

Or was the constellation script often written with a permanent marker on special equipment models? And a lightweight date window?
Nothing dubious about it except the poor re-dial.
Oh, and the price.

Well, I have to inform you about a Peruvian speedy seller. See my post about my speedy research.
Here what happenned to sum up.
- He posted his ad on the watchnet
-he answers to emails very quickly and politly
-When I asked him who and where he was he answered : I own a little business in Hamburg.
-He did send me some pics with the hands in the positions I asked
-I tested him asking if I could pay half half now and when received, he said yes
-When he sent me a paypal invoice he told me he account was verified. the address was @yahoo.pe.com
-then he disappeared.
he is supposed to be called André Letotnaei, ptibisouters, or André Walks.

So be cautious
