Your observation was 100% correct. I saw that ad and looked at it closely because I own the same watch.....minus the redial. Still amazed at what people will pay for a redial when you can get original for not much more.

Checks off nearly all the boxes. "OMEGA" written on by Sharpie. "Antimagnetic" on the dial. Stamped on outside of case back. Hour hand too long. Second hand too short. If this isn't enough what else did I miss

 

This is one of the early copies (mid to late '70s). Not one part of this watch is close to any Omega. Manual wind 1 jewel movement inside. Cheapie cheapie.

Looking at the rest of their items for sale - lots of second hand shoes - I suspect that the sum of their knowledge extends to recognising that it is a watch.
