Ok, here's one I haven't seen before: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-OME...305131203?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3cd6ffe0c3Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network A slightly better, more convincing fake for it's time. The stamping on the outside case back and the S in Seamaster were dead giveaways for me.
Seller has already replied and thanked me for the information. Even asked my opinion on a lady's Omega he had listed, which is fake too. Expect these will be removed shortly. http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-OME...305133002?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3cd6ffe7caPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Well, I thought they sincere Seller ended the lady's Omega which was listed with BIN of $2500, but yes, I noticed they only revised the men's Omega. Apparently enough people reported this item/seller...item has been removed.
I would like to suggest to moderator that this thread be placed below "Recommended Vintage Omega Watches On Ebay (not Inquiries)". Most of here have enough knowledge to help keep places such as eBay a more safe/fun place for the newbies and non-collectors. The more people that report items, the quicker eBay should remove. Just my 2 cents.
Fantastic thread, but serves different purpose. Respectfully...don't know how many newbies would even find this forum, much less this thread.
1st "platinum" fake I've seen! Reported to eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ome...096490394?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item20da01959aPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Why is this one still up? 7 bids...someone is going to be disappointed! Messaged seller, but apparently they are not as sincere as their description.... "I strive to provide honest and accurate information for all of our auctions. It is not my intention to misinterpret or deceive." http://www.ebay.com/itm/141096490394?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
After analyzing hundreds of counterfeit item reports I've made, the likelihood of an item being removed goes down drastically IF the seller accepts returns, doesn't make it right but this seems to be one of eBay's justifications.
Please report this one. Have messaged seller suggesting they have it checked by watchmaker and have metal content confirmed. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1943-SOLID-...007441776?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item4615710f70Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
