I corresponded with him. Not sure, but I think that this was a case of genuine lack of knowledge about what he had. When I pointed out the defects, he said that he would withdraw it and lamented that he could not return it to the person whom he had purchased it from and that he had "trusted the wrong person."

Why would they? It says Seamaster on the dial- that makes it original, right!?🙄
