I’d like that one in the bottom right corner. Beautiful

Poor man's Reverso, made in 1930s and share the similar case size with the vintage Reverso (22x38mm), running very strong for the last 24-hr. I'm just wondering on the hour hand position: it would suppose to pass the 10 o'clock marker in this position right?

Great watch. yes, hour hand is slightly misaligned - can be adjusted by watch maker.

How old does a watch need to be before it's classed as "vintage"? this might not count so let's call it retro.....

Hello all .This is my first post as I just acquired what looks to be vintage. 1957?
Any info about this would be great .
Is it worth repairing?
Crown is recessed.
Thx .

Picked up this neglected "non-working" circa 1957 Zodiac out of a box of "junked watches" yesterday at a flea market....turns out it works and keeps good time. Not the prettiest or most pristine example of a Zodiac, but it lives again!

The problem with the watch is someone put an incorrect crown on it. The crown has an elongated threaded tube which screws onto the stem. The threaded tube is longer than the stem, so when when you try to screw on the crown the bottom of the tube contacts the movement and as you continue to screw down the crown you are actually are threading/pulling the stem outward into the "set" position which stops the watch and gives the false impression that the watch is wound tight and not working. Off to my watchmaker this morning to find an appropriate crown.
