Early 50s 37mm jumbo in rose gold. Just put this NOS strap lizard on for a "summer look".
Bought from Adam Menta of Menta Watches but I believe an OF member may have owned it prior. Love it

Can someone tell me what that purple gunk is? I see blue gunk in the back of some Omegas

 

It's a protective layer for the case.

I personnaly clean those away with acetone but some like to keep those as a NOS proof.

 

so when does it get removed usually - after the AD receives the watch but before retail buyer takes possession?
