Hello everyone, If I want to purchase this Seamaster, how do I look for it? How is it identified? Omega Seamaster ________? It’s a darker shade of gold that suits me. I love the bracelet and the beautiful design.
That’s not a Pre Bond. It may be from the early 1980s (the bracelet looks like that on the Calypso) but based on that awful pic I say fake. Or something rare. Not necessarily valuable but rare.
Similar bracelet. Not sure enough on these just 2 minutes of google. https://www.invaluable.com/auction-...amaster-120-plongeur-de-luxe-382-c-6a92421f79
Yes agreed on similar bracelet. The dial is very similar to Calypso but the bezel is different—isn’t a rotating one. Isn’t fake. It was for sale on Chrono24. I just didn’t save photos and now it’s sold. Royal Oak’s bracelet is the same. Love this sort of a bracelet.
These two statements have nothing to do with each other. These two do: It was for sale on Chrono24. I didn’t save photos and now it’s sold.
Ok. Ignoring the C24 element, how are you so certain it isn’t fake, bearing in mind you clearly don’t know the model?
Fair question. Seller had photos of documents. Detailed photos of the watch. At the end of the day I’m more concerned about finding out the Seamaster model rather than if that seller’s watch was real or fake. Fakes are mostly replicas of real warches anyway.

Wow, very close. Except the watch in question is 37mm and the numeral markers are different. The watch I’m inquiring about has markers exactly like the Calypso but otherwise it appears to be almost the same design! Well done!
Yes agreed. This does visually look bigger though. I know the other watch well as owner had posted wrist shots and it’s definitely 37mm excluding the crown. Where this one seems to be 40mm excluding the crown. Besides the size, the dial is different. We’ve gotten very close now thanks to Professor!
Just found the watch in a 83‘ german catalogue, so seems to be legit to me. Quite surprising what the price was these days
